What are Preset Attributes? How are they defined?
Delightable provides a number of preset guest attributes enabling Admins & Users to easily identify a guests engagement with the brand and group like customers.
These attributes are determined based on guest purchase behavior with the brand. Each guest record includes transaction based attributes assigned/updated nightly by our proprietary algorithm.
Purchase Behavior Metrics
- Recency of last transaction
- Number of transactions
- Total Spend
- Average Spend ( Total Spend /Number of Transactions)
Guest Spend
Guest spend is a way to identify guests who spend from the highest level to the lowest level with a brand. The first step in creating a Guests Spend is to determine the baseline Total spend & average spend for your brand by looking at how your average guest spend. Using this baseline for the brand, guests are then grouped as:
- High - Performs above the average total spend & average spend per check for brand
- Medium - Performs either above the average total spend & average spend per check for brand
- Low - Performs below both the average total spend & average spend per check for brand
- None - Has not yet transacted with the brand
Guest Recency
Guest recency identifies guests who have most recently to least recently transacted with the brand. In order to determine recency "engagement windows", we identify the average number of days it takes for a guest to transact again for your brand. Once that window is determined, members are placed into these groups:
- Active (last transaction is within the engagement window)
- Inactive (last transaction is within the engagement window x2)
- Lapsed (last transaction is beyond the engagement window x2)
- None (no transactions)
Guest Frequency
Guest frecency identifies guests who have purchased most often to least often with the brand. Guests are placed into these groups:
- Repeat (Guest visited 2 or more times)
- One Time (Guest has only visited 1 time)
- None (Guest has never visited)
