Sunday POS

The sunday integration sends nightly payment data to Fishbowl through a client-level SFTP account.

This guide walks through the setup process, including requesting the SFTP account, providing location information, mapping locations in Fishbowl, and handling new locations.

The sunday integration requires four steps:

1. Request a client-level SFTP account from Fishbowl
2. Provide the SFTP and file requirements to your sunday representative
3. Map sunday locations to Fishbowl stores
4. Update the mapping whenever a new location is added

Important: Location mapping must be completed before sunday begins sending nightly payment files.

Contact Fishbowl Client Support by submitting a support ticket or sending an email requesting a client-level SFTP account for the sunday integration.

SFTP Username

The SFTP username should follow this format:

[ClientAbbreviation]sunday

Example:

Security Requirement

SFTP passwords and other sensitive connection credentials must only be shared through the secure method provided by Fishbowl Client Support.

Do not include passwords or other sensitive credentials in standard email.

Once the Fishbowl SFTP account has been created, contact your sunday representative to provide the integration requirements and request the location information needed for mapping.

Required Location Information

Before the first nightly file is sent, sunday must provide a one-time list of every business_id and its corresponding venue_name.

This information is required so each sunday location can be mapped to the correct Fishbowl brand and store.

Before sending the first nightly file, please provide a one-time list of every sunday business_id and its corresponding venue_name. We will use this information to map each sunday location to the correct Fishbowl brand and store.

Once the mappings are complete, please send the nightly payments files through the SFTP provided by Fishbowl.

File naming convention:

sunday_YYYYMMDD_payments.csv

Required fields:

• order_id
• payment_id
• email
• phone_number
• optin_level
• business_id
• venue_name
• order_amount
• paid_amount
• product_type
• created_at
• created_at_local
• tips_amount
• external_bill_id

The business_id and venue_name fields are required for Fishbowl store mapping.

Please also notify [Contact Name/Email] whenever a new location and business ID are created so the location can be mapped in Fishbowl.

Once sunday has provided the list of locations and their corresponding business_id values, the client or Fishbowl implementation specialist should complete the location mapping in Fishbowl.

For each sunday location:

1. Identify the sunday business_id.
2. Confirm the corresponding venue_name.
3. Select the appropriate Fishbowl brand.
4. Select the corresponding Fishbowl store.
5. Save the mapping.

The store dropdown will display the client's available Fishbowl stores.

Important

Complete all location mappings before sunday begins sending nightly payment files.

Unmapped locations may prevent payment data from being associated with the correct Fishbowl store.

When a new location opens, the location must be added to the sunday-to-Fishbowl mapping.

Process

1. sunday provides the new business_id and corresponding venue_name.
2. The client or Fishbowl implementation specialist identifies the appropriate Fishbowl brand and store.
3. The new sunday location is mapped to the Fishbowl store.
4. The mapping should be completed before processing payment data for the new location.

sunday should also notify the designated Fishbowl contact whenever a new location and business_id are created.

Nightly payment files must follow the required naming convention and contain all required fields.

Required Fields

business_id and venue_name are required for Fishbowl location mapping.

Use the following checklist to confirm the integration is ready:

• Client-level SFTP account requested from Fishbowl
• SFTP username follows the [ClientAbbreviation]sunday format
• SFTP credentials received through a secure method
• sunday representative contacted
• Complete list of business_id and venue_name values received from sunday
• All sunday locations mapped to the correct Fishbowl brand and store
• sunday confirms nightly file delivery is configured
• File naming convention confirmed
• Required file fields confirmed
• Process established for notifying Fishbowl when new locations are created

Ongoing Requirement

Whenever sunday adds a new location, the corresponding business_id must be provided and mapped to the correct Fishbowl store before payment data for that location is processed.
